David A. Thatcher

David Thatcher received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania in 1988. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Capital University Law School, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. During his academic career, Mr. Thatcher was invited to serve on the Editorial Board of the Capital University Law Review.

Mr. Thatcher is a member of the Camden County and New Jersey State Bar Associations, as well as the New Jersey Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Thatcher has been a partner with the firm since 1992.

He is admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Federal Courts for the Third Circuit District of New Jersey and Easter District of Pennsylvania.

A former prosecutor and public defender, Mr. Thatcher has extensive experience in criminal and municipal court matters. He is a former municipal prosecutor for the Township of Waterford and the public defender for Winslow Township.

Mr. Thatcher is the former Mayor of Laurel Springs, where he served from 2000 through 2007. During his tenure as Mayor he was elected as President of the Camden County Mayors' Association in 2003. He also served on the Camden County Open Space and Preservation Trust Committee.

Mr. Thatcher has a general practice of law which includes Personal injury, Family Law, Municipal Court, Local Land Use and Real Estate Law.
